Utilising state of the art 3D technology, Artists In Motion has created the ultimate immersive experience using a real-time game engine – Unreal Engine 4.
In the latest resurrection of Walking With Dinosaurs the Arena Spectacular, Artists in Motion was tasked with reanimating a key scene to include one of the world's largest pre-historic flying creatures: the Ornithocheirus.
The Orni's fly-through environment was created using Unreal Engine 4, and this move from off-line rendering to a real-time pipeline revolutionised the team’s workflow capabilities, affording AIM the ability to build stunning environments in real-time at a fraction of the time it would have taken in a typical DCC package.
