Here's a quick personal project, thrown together over the course of a week while things have been a little quiet.

Heavily inspired by the Alien franchise and fuelled by the various trailers for Alien Romulus, I wanted to create something that gives a tiny glimpse into a similar universe.

My primary focus was on the composition and story rather than a heavily polished environment.

The aim was to hint at something sinister happening without getting bogged down in creating lots of props and characters - letting the viewer fill in the blanks.

Obviously sound is always really important with anything like this so I built a library of useful audio clips along the way as inspiration and created the sound design in Presonus Studio One.

All 3d elements created in Lightwave 3d 2018, rendered in Octane

Post production in After Effects.
