Animale directed by Emma Benestan (2024)

Under the supervision of Lise Fischer, our MPC Paris team took on incredible technical challenges to bring this visual adventure to life. From design and 3D modelling to creating shaders for the fur effects, every detail was carefully crafted to create the terrifying and fascinating half-bull, half-werewolf creature.

With 74 visual effects shots completed between February and May 2024, a talented team of twenty artists used all their expertise to enhance the unique world of Animale. Thanks to the integration of camera metadata and SFX extensions used during filming, the final result promises complete immersion.

This film was presented as the closing film at the Critics' Week during the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and is competing for several awards at the 2025 César Awards, including Best Visual Effects.
