A one man CGI animated short. Made at 3D College Denmark by David Gruwier



Thanks to everybody who helped me out with feedback and advice.



Round Trip was made in Cinema 4D, with compositing done in After Effects, and it was rendered using the built-in physical renderer.

This thing would have taken maybe 2 months on my workstation, but I was fortunate enough to have access to a render farm that cut the rendertime down to just two days. All that in-camera depth of field and motion blur doesn't come cheap.
