Kart Rider Drift : S2 'World Kart Championship'

2grey는 카트라이더 드리프트 시즌2 부터 매 새로운 시즌마다 오프닝 시네마틱을 만들고 있습니다.
시즌2는 2grey의 첫 카트라이더 시네마틱이자 글로벌 국가들에 런칭이기도 하고, 동시에 World Kart Championship을 테마인만큼 큰 규모감과 입체적인 네러티브, 속도감 있는 카메라와 장면연출로 관객들을 사로잡고 싶었습니다.
결승트랙에서의 여덟 라이더들간 치열한 경쟁을 관객들이 박진감과 몰입감을 느낄 수 있도록 각본을 짜고, 대규모 씬들의 아트웍을 진행했는데, 특히 카트들 간의 몸싸움, 아이템 사용이 바꾸는 레이싱의 양상, 지름길 활용으로 회피, 관객들의 뜨거운 호응, 전설의 레이서와 빌런간의 쉐도우 체이싱, 그리고 다오의 정의와 열정 등. 다양한 시퀀스들을 유기적으로 묶어 재미있게 풀고자 했습니다.
2grey의 많은 아티스트들이 시각적으로 높은 퀄리티를 만들어냈을 뿐 아니라, 오디오에서도 카트라이더 고유의 멜로디를 살려 오리지널 음악을 만들고 돌비7.1.4 채널의 아웃풋을 내는 등 모든 부분에서 노력했습니다.

2grey has been creating opening cinematics for each new season since Kart Rider Drift Season 2.
Season 2 is 2grey's first Kart Rider cinematic and launched in global countries. At the same time, as the theme is the World Kart Championship, we wanted to captivate the audience with a large scale, three-dimensional narrative, and fast-paced cameras and scenes.
We wrote screenplay and created artwork for large-scale championship scenes so that the audience could feel excitement and immersion.
In particular, Crashes between karts, the aspect of racing that changes with the use of items, evasion by using shortcuts, enthusiastic response from the audience, shadow chasing between legendary racers and villains, and Dao's justice and passion. We tried to organically tie together various sequences and solve them in a fun way.
We paid attention to both visual and audio aspects. Many artists at 2grey worked hard to create high-quality visuals. In terms of music, we created original music using KartRider's unique melody and produced output for the Dolby 7.1.4 channel, so we hope the audience will enjoy it.
