To help create a lasting impression for the first installment in The Hunger Games trilogy, Hybride’s VFX artists showcased their expertise with exceptionally realistic shots that blend in perfectly throughout the film.

Hybride artists can be credited with the impressive effects for the Game Center: the VFX team designed and created touch screen desktops, monitor content, and the central data-generated hologram representing the Arena. Hybride’s studio also generated photo-real 3D CG fire, smoke and embers for the movie’s forest fire sequences. The movie’s visual effects are true-to-life. So much so that the audiences might not even realize that most arrows, knives and other weapons seen in the movie were created using CG technology. Other Hybride VFX shots include holograms, quails, a hawk, parachutes and the dummies and weapons used in the Training Room, accentuated explosions and face replacement, numerous set extensions, as well as crowd simulations for the Theatre and District 12.
