Crafty Apes artists led by VFX Supervisor Brandon Nelson significantly contributed to the film "King Richard" by providing a variety of VFX services that enhanced both the storytelling and visual appeal. We worked on subtle yet crucial visual effects to ensure the authenticity and seamlessness of the tennis scenes, among other aspects of the film.

One of the key areas where we applied our expertise was in the recreation of realistic tennis matches. This required a combination of techniques, including digital tennis balls, crowd enhancements, and compositing, to convincingly portray the young Venus and Serena Williams during their matches. Our attention to detail helped maintain the realism and intensity of these sports sequences.

Additionally, we worked on environmental enhancements and period corrections to match the film's setting in the 1990s. This involved digitally altering backgrounds, adding or removing elements to reflect the era, and ensuring continuity throughout the film.

Overall, our contributions were integral to the visual narrative of "King Richard," helping to bring the inspiring story of the Williams family to life.
